Niche Wine Co. is a family-owned and operated winery producing small-batch wines in West Kelowna, British Columbia. The quality of these wines is no accident. Co-founders Joanna and James Schlosser take care in producing a home-grown, handcrafted lineup of wines that sells out vintage-over-vintage and consistently win awards on a national and international stage. 

The vineyard sits at an elevation of 620 meters and when it comes to growing Pinot, elevation is key. The Vineyard site is the right balance of hot summer days and cool nights making it prime Pinot growing country. The cool climate, limited access to water, and gravel-like soil conspire to stress the vines in all the right ways.

The vineyard is home to approximately 7 planted acres of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir and Foch. The Vineyard is also home to Twenty-five laying chickens and one very rumbustious and lovable Labrador. 

For the first time in over 10 years, Niche opened its farm gates  to host visitors for the Summer 2022 season. You can count on farm-fresh wines, outside times, and million-dollar views.
