SINGER-SONGWRITER SESSIONS
An intimate, Nashville-style listening room experience featuring three singer-songwriters sharing the stage for an evening of original music, stories, and conversation.
Rather than a traditional concert, the artists take turns performing their songs and sharing the stories behind them, creating a relaxed, personal experience where the audience gets to know the artists and the inspiration behind the music.
Three artists. One stage. Songs, stories, and the moments behind them.

MAKAYLA CHARLEEN
Makayla Charleen is a Canadian country artist and songwriter based in British Columbia, known for blending a bold, modern country sound with raw, honest storytelling. Drawing from contemporary country, soulful influences, and roots-driven elements, her songwriting is grounded in lived experience, emotional honesty, and a love for songs that connect through both the story and the lyric.
She has steadily built momentum through a growing catalogue of original music and live performances across Western Canada. Her releases have received national exposure, with songs including “Marlboro Might,” “Hot As Texas,” and “Roughin’ Up My Sole” featured on SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Radio.
As a songwriter, Makayla is deeply involved in the creative process behind her music, writing her own material while regularly collaborating with artists and songwriters throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Nashville. Through songs including “Aftermath", "Relentless" and "Over The Moon", she continues to develop a distinct voice as a storyteller while building an ever-growing catalogue of unreleased material.
Makayla continues to expand her craft through collaborative writing environments and songwriter-focused performances. She has participated in the 2024 Boots ’N Boats Singer-Songwriter Festival and the 2025 BCCMA Nashville Afternoons Songwriter Rounds at Sunfest, alongside an expanding network of co-writers across Canada and Nashville.
In an acoustic songwriter-round setting, Makayla brings her songs back to where they began — a voice, a guitar, and the stories behind the lyrics. Her stripped-back performances offer audiences an intimate look into her songwriting process and the experiences, ideas, and moments that inspired each song.
This isn’t just a concert.
It’s the kind of night where the artists stay on stage together, songs lead to stories, stories lead to laughter, and friends occasionally convince each other to play something they hadn’t planned on playing.
Three friends. Three stories. One stage.
Come for the music. Stay for the stories.
