Join us on the Westside Wine Trails for the inaugural pair· ing Pass Program. On November 2 and 3, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, wineries along the Westside Wine Trail will be providing perfect pair· ing experiences that are sure to please.

Each winery will provide pair· ing pass holders with a variety of locally sourced and creative cheese dishes alongside perfectly paired wine.

Pinot & Paneer – a perfect pair

Join us as we showcase several of our organic estate wines perfectly paired with mouth-watering vegetarian dishes including Organic Pinot Noir paired with Okanagan cherry chutney and sautéed Paneer cubes and Organic Pinot Gris paired with 3 cheese fondue and pain grille.

At 2:00 pm we will also feature a special cheese making demonstration and tasting of Paneer in curry coconut sauce avec Monsieur Thomas Goudreau (fromage expert)


Fall Pair-ings

Join the new kids on the block for our 2019 initiation into the Westside Wine Trail at Frind Estate Winery! We are offering 2 options for your enjoyment.  We will be serving warm roasted pear with Gellatly Farm walnuts, cranberries and Upper Bench King Cole Blue Cheese paired with our 2018 Pinot Noir Rosé. We will also be serving phyllo cups filled with cracked pepper infused Okanagan goat cheese with charred plum purée paired with our vibrant 2018 Riesling.


Try Grizzli’s New Pair – of wines!

Visit us at Grizzli Winery to try the new pair of wines we have just release for you! Our 2017 Riesling and 2017 Viognier will be the stars of the Pair-ing event, each paired with their own fresh and unexpected twists on classic artisanal ricotta and gouda cheeses.


Flavours of Fall

Join us to enjoy the spectacular flavours of fall as we pair our 2018 La’p Cheet Sparkling Rosé with a staff favourite – Happy Day Goat Cheese ball with local walnuts and luscious apple butter.


 Four inspired Flavours

We are excited to welcome you at Kalala Organic Estate Winery to experience four inspired dishes paired with our award-winning organic wines. Enjoy our Aspire red blend in the form of mulled wine, paired perfectly with a decadent cheese fondue (gruyere, sharp cheddar and swiss) dipped in sourdough bread.Our Zweigelt will be paired with a delicious poscuitto-wrapped brie cheese ball, while our bubbly Rosé, Frizzante (a blend of Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay and Blaufrankish) will be served with tomato, basil bocconcini skewers with balsamic reduction. Finally, Kalala is well known for its Icewine and we have decided to showcase our Zweigelt Icewine. With flavours of hazelnut and butterscotch, this will pair perfectly with dark chocolate as well as dates stuffed with gorgonzola cheese. Note, for our vegan customers, we will also have a vegan charcuterie board consisting of nut cheeses with an array of vegetables and crackers. This board will pair well with all the wines listed above.

For the love of Flat Bread  

We invite you to visit us at Little Straw to experience the sights and sips of fall. Enjoy a sample of our vibrant 2018 La Petite Paille Sauvignon Blanc perfectly paired with a rich, tangy goat cheese flat bread


A Touch of Pepper

Guests will be welcomed with a taste of our Reserve Brut, then enjoy a Sommelier led wine and cheese tasting in our Oculus Salon where a locally produced Italian inspired cheese, The black-pepper Caciotta, will be paired with our 2016 Terroir Collection Syrah (only 20 barrels produced).


Mulling it Over

Visit us for a glass of traditionally made “Smoking Bishop” mulled wine – a staff favourite in the winter months.  Enjoy with smoked gruyere served with strawberry and fig balsamic reduction on artisanal crackers while you enjoy the warmth of our outdoor fire pits.


Unique wines & Unique finds – A trip through local wines & food pairings.

Experience our sustainable farmed wines paired with local treasures.

Start your discovery with a discussion on sugar and acid and how they affect wine. Enjoy a tart Granny Smith Apple paired with our estate Pinot Gris. From there, we will journey into the world of Riesling where we will pair our Old Vines Riesling with the Continental Blue Cheese from Terroir Cheese. The name of this game is flavour intensity. Next, we will learn about a century old wine making style, orange wine. Limited edition Scape Goat is a traditional style Orange Wine that pairs great with Carmelis Smoked Carmel cheese. Finally, we will conclude this session featuring our Merlot paired alongside Knights chocolate.

Enjoy the seamless pairing of Quails’ Gate Estate and Reserve Pinot Noirs with tasty Gougères. A Gougère (pronounced goo/zhehr) is not just any cheese puff – with our award-winning Pinot Noirs, these light, airy, cheese-filled pastry bites deliver toasty, smooth and mouth-melting finesse.  Experience by our fireplace for the ultimate comfort pairing.


Lifecycle of a Hobo-Bourgogne

Revel in the wondrous vagabond, marvel in the obscurity of the electrifying 2018 Lifecycle of a Hobo: Muller-Thurgau. Muller thrives in all things decadent & salt driven, so we’re throwing this baby down with a Bourgogne Brie & Bacon Jam Crostini. Veggie Friends: minus the bacon, now the bacon is caramelized onion.
